Services
Custom cabinets should not feel out of reach. Our mission is to expand access to affordable custom cabinetry while still building it the premium way.
That means solid materials, proven construction methods, clean details, and a process that keeps you involved so the final result matches your goals, expectations, and style.
Below is a detailed breakdown of what we do, how it works, and what you can expect at each step.
What We Do
We handle three core parts of a cabinet project:
Design
Build and woodworking
Delivery and installation through our partnership with Calebs Carpentry
If you want a simple handoff, we can keep it simple. If you want to know every little detail of the build, we can go as deep as you want. This page is for the second type of person.
Design Services
Design is where your project becomes real. This is where we turn ideas into a layout that works, then make sure you understand exactly what is being built before any materials are ordered.
What our design work can include
Depending on your project, design can cover things like:
Base and wall cabinet layout
Pantry walls and appliance towers
Islands and peninsula configurations
Built ins for living rooms, offices, mudrooms, and laundry rooms
Closet and storage layouts
Cabinet sizing, spacing, and clearances for doors and drawers
Functional features like pull outs, trash systems, spice storage, and vertical tray dividers
3D model renders
For clients who want to see the project before build day, we also offer 3D model renders.
This is useful because it helps you:
Visualize how the cabinetry will look in the room, not just on paper
Confirm proportions and spacing so nothing feels crowded or undersized
Compare layout options faster, especially in kitchens and pantry walls
Align on style details early, like door profiles, panel breaks, and feature areas
Reduce surprises once materials are ordered and work begins
Free concepts and drawings with pre made architecturals
If you come in with pre made architectural drawings, we can build your cabinet plan directly from those and provide free concepts and free drawings as part of the process.
This helps in two ways:
You get a cabinet layout designed around the actual structure of the space
We reduce guesswork early, which keeps the project efficient and accurate
What you will walk away with
Every design should leave you with clarity. You should be able to point to a plan and understand what is going where, why it is there, and what it will look like once installed.
Typical outcomes include:
A cabinet layout plan that fits your space and storage goals
A clear understanding of cabinet sizes and configuration
Options and alternatives where it matters most
A quote with a cost breakdown so you know where your money is going
Cabinet Builds and Woodworking
We build cabinets and wood pieces that are designed for real daily use. Our standard approach balances durability, clean craftsmanship, and cost control so the finished result feels premium without forcing you into an unrealistic budget.
Cabinet boxes and standard material
Our standard material is ¾ birch for all cabinet parts. This is a strong, reliable choice that creates a sturdy cabinet box while staying affordable compared to higher cost materials.
If you prefer something different, we can source it. We have access to over 1000 different wood materials through our vendors, which means your project can be tailored to the look and feel you want.
How the cabinets are constructed
We build our boxes using a combination of:
Pocket screws
Glue
Dado construction
Because we use ¾ material and this construction method, you can trust the cabinets are built to last under standard household use.
Custom woodworking beyond cabinets
Not every job is only cabinets. Many projects need additional woodwork to make the whole space feel finished. We can fabricate custom wood pieces such as:
Floating and built in shelving
Counter and top support elements
Wall panels and feature surfaces
Trim and finishing components that tie everything together
If you want the final look to feel integrated, this is where it happens.
Hardware, Soft Close, and What is Included
Hardware is where cabinets start to feel truly high end in everyday use. It impacts the way doors close, drawers glide, and how the whole system feels over time.
Soft close is standard
All hinges and drawer glides include soft close features.
Hardware brands
We prefer to use Blum hardware, but we can adjust based on your budget and goals.
Handles and pulls
Hardware is included except for handles
Through our vendors, we can provide a wide selection of handle styles and finishes if you want help sourcing them
Materials and Product Standards
Are the materials toxic
We use environmentally friendly and EPA regulated products and source using sustainable methods.
If you have specific needs or sensitivities, bring that up early. Material selection is easiest when it is part of the plan, not a last minute change.
Pricing and Transparency
Every project is different. Price ranges can vary greatly depending on:
Material selection
Type of cabinet and features
Size and quantity of cabinetry
Scope of the project and complexity of installation
Our goal is transparency. That is why every design includes a quote with a breakdown of costs so you understand where your money is going.
